As this presidential election approaches, I have no doubt or whatsoever that many die-hard Nigerians with disappointment in this present national government administration full of envenom anger will be willing and ready to do and undo whatever it may take comes March 28, 2015. But before you embark on such, I will like to advise every reasonable and enlightened citizens of Nigeria to kindly rethink their choice before taking any action that may cause mayhem which may eventually lead to wanton destruction of lives and properties.

Let's wait a second, and ask ourselves this simple question; do we need any angel from heaven or Jupiter to preach to us that political and election violence do us no favor but destruction before we tell and counsel ourselves to shun violence before, during and after this election. How many of us have ever reasoned that there is no permanent enemies in politics likewise life. Life is a game, we are all players. Should you understand this then, sk yourself what kind of player are you?

Remember, in politics, enemies today; allies tomorrow. It is just a simple game of life.

Few years back in the State of Osun, there was a very serious rivalry and great political war between Ex-Gov of Osun State, Prince Ologunsoye Oyinlola and seating governor of the state Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola. During the political feud between the duo, many lives were wasted amongst their supporters and followers. Today, what are they? Friends and players in the same game while you and I keep our malice against each other due to unwise reasons.

I will like to implore all Nigerians especially people of the same community to shun violence and embrace unity and harmony as we vote peacefully or orderly on March 28th.

To the youths of my category, please be wise, there have been elections in Nigeria before you and I were born, and there will still be elections while we must not allow ourselves to be used as tools and vices for violence. And to our elders and elderly ones, kindly advise your younger folks of the election violence of the past and its aftermath on our community and Nigeria at large. It did not us no favor, many cities have not recovered from the past political violence. Please shun violence and let there be peace all over.

We are one family, and love must bind us together regardless of our political party affliation. Election comes and go, politicians keep milking on us whether they win or loose and we remain the victims of violence while they become VIP, Friends and Family after election.

I urge us all to be a law abiding citizen and an good ambassador of ourselves and our family before this coming election, during and after.

above all, tell your neighbors to shun violence and advice them to do the same accordingly.

Shun Political and Election Violence and let their be free and fair election.

God bless Federal Republic of Nigeria.
